Q: Where are you from?
I'm originally from Michigan, but recently moved to New York!
Q: You recently settled into a permanent apartment for the first time in over a year—how does it feel to finally build a home base?
I truly couldn't be happier. For the first time in so long, I feel settled. I'm fully depending on myself and my schedule. I'm building my closet and finding the perfect pieces to create such a beautiful place and routine.
Q: What makes a space feel like home to you?
Somewhere I can feel safe and still inspired. I have always loved bright spaces that make it easy to have a routine and feel cozy. I have the perfect closet size — I'll be able to keep my favorite pieces and basics, and then find room for some other favorite pieces!
Q: What drew you to New York?
I've always loved New York. I don't know if I ever thought I would live here full-time as much as I wanted to. It kind of just happened naturally and felt very seamless. I have such an amazing time when I visit friends or come for work. The move felt so perfect — everything from subleasing to finding the apartment. I'm amazed at how sometimes, when something is supposed to happen, it will. Overall, being close to friends and work and living the city lifestyle — I couldn't feel more blessed that this is my life right now. I'm a close two-hour direct flight home to Michigan, and I know that was important to me since I love visiting family. Traveling in and out of the city has been so amazing.
Q: What does your ideal day in the city look like right now?
I normally wake up and head over to a workout class! I'll probably grab a coffee before if I have time.
Q: What feels different about this version of you compared to a year ago?
I feel more level-headed right now. I'm okay with taking my time. I love everyone in my life, and I try to listen to and honor my intuition the best I can.

Q: What are you letting go of as we move into spring?
As we move into spring, I'm letting go of anything I can't control and letting life play out as it needs to. I'm sticking to a good routine, spending time with friends, and trusting the process. I think life feels better when your intentions are right and you keep moving forward — enjoying whatever happens.
Q: You've been creating YouTube videos for over a decade—what does it feel like to have grown up alongside your audience?
It feels amazing to have grown up and slowly documented my life for the past 12 years. I think it's something really special, and I love looking back even a few years ago to see how much has changed. It's really pushed me to enjoy every moment, because when you look back, they're all just beautiful memories. It's so special to grow up with people online — meeting people in person and feeling like there's already a friendship there has been the biggest blessing.
Q: As you continue to grow and discover yourself in new ways, do you ever feel pressure to stay the same for your audience?
In some ways, yes! I want to stay true to myself and who I am at my core, always. I think a big part of me will always want to resonate with my younger self and stay close to that version of me. I've always wanted to be a comfort or provide some sort of value when it comes to posting, and I don't think that will ever change. As I've grown, though, it's important for me to evolve in ways that feel comfortable. Growing up and moving through life while posting has been such a cool experience — I definitely don't take it for granted.
Q: How do you stay connected to friends and family when they're spread all over the world?
I love calling them! A lot of my free time I spend texting, calling, and FaceTiming my friends. Throughout the day, I'm always texting friends — whether it's planning to meet up or just catching up randomly. It's kind of funny because I don't necessarily like to watch TV shows at night — I'll normally spend an hour or two calling a best friend or FaceTiming my sister to catch up. I love staying as updated as I can.
Q: How has your definition of friendship evolved over time?
A friend is someone who's there for you through the good and the bad, as we all know. Someone to just listen to you rant, and someone you're willing to do the same for. Someone who respects your boundaries and pushes you to do better. Someone who loves you for you but isn't afraid to call you out. Friendship is mutually wanting to grow together, create memories together, and support each other through life — whatever that looks like. It's constantly changing for everyone. Life is so much better with your friends, and I'm so grateful for the people in my life.

Q: What's been inspiring you creatively lately, and how is that showing up in your work or day-to-day life?
I think stepping away and living life — with friends, traveling, and new experiences — fills my cup so much that when it's time to create, it's exciting. I feel inspired by everyone around me, especially the friends I see day to day. They're so disciplined — it makes me want to work hard and still enjoy the simple little things we get to do every day. Coffee shop runs, getting dressed in your favorite outfit, trying a new workout class, grabbing a happy hour drink at a cute bar, people-watching — a few of my favorite things. I feel so blessed to enjoy these throughout the week.
Q: What path do you think you might have taken if your life hadn't unfolded online?
I still think I would have been in the entertainment industry, maybe more behind the scenes. Or in the fashion world, also maybe behind the scenes. I love marketing and connecting with people, so hopefully something in that realm!
Q: Do you see yourself staying here — or anywhere — for the long term?
I love New York. I'd love to see where things go, but I'm enjoying my time and life here so much. Life changes so fast — I used to think you could pick a place and stay, but until life gets more serious, I'm not too sure. The city is beyond special. I feel so lucky to be here.
Q: Three words you'd use to describe yourself?
Three words to describe myself — wow! I would say optimistic, genuine, and energetic. It's funny when you try to think of words to describe yourself! I just asked a friend what three words they would use to describe me, and he said, "Loving, ambitious, and creative" — which is so sweet.
